| Most people confuse Henry Ford with the idea that he invented the automobile. He did not. He did however invent the assembly line. He began using the assembly line in 1908, building the "Model-T" Ford. He later took his idea to England and set up a factory in Old Trafford, Manchester where they were able to produce 8,000 cars a year. |
